Hi, my name is Lindsey! I am a student at the University of Victoria, currently completing my Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Gender Studies and Political Science. I am currently located in Victoria, on the traditional territories of the of the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations of the lək̓ʷəŋən People. Previously I have occupied the lands of the Katzie, Kwantlen and Stó:lō First Nations. In my time at UVic, I have had the opportunity to explore my curiosity and passion for community building and social justice. It is through my studies that I have discovered a special interest in advocacy and care work specifically as it relates to trans-inclusion and community organizing. I approach this work in a deeply collaborative and accessible way, looking to bring my two majors together, meaningfully and radically.
The job of the writer is to make the revolution irresistible.

In my personal life, I love to rock climb, read, bake, watch hockey, and screen my all-time favourite movie, The Hunger Games, on repeat. I’m an easily contented individual, especially in the company of my friends. I am truly a reflection of the wonderful people around me, and I spend a great deal of my time investing love and care into my family.
